How does the "retouch" mode work?
Workflow Mode: Retouching
The Retouching mode allows you to have your client choose their photos before you retouch them and to deliver only the finalized images. It is an ideal workflow if you offer proof selection, on-demand retouching, or sales of digital files after selection.
The photos available in the gallery have not yet been retouched. Your client must first choose the photos you will retouch. Only retouched photos can be downloaded or ordered.
Your client will not be able to download the photos directly after purchase (as is the case in ready-to-sell mode). They will need to wait until you unlock the images after retouching and validation.

How it works
- Select the "Retouching" workflow mode.
- Select the number of photos included for the client and add a catalog containing at least one digital file product.
- Upload the unretouched photos and send the gallery to the client.
- The client selects the photos they want (via the number of included photos and/or the purchase of digital photos) and places their order. You receive an email notification.
- The selected photos appear in the "To retouch" section of the "Retouching" tab.

- Start by importing the retouched photos you want to associate with the originals using the
Add retouched photosbutton. - If the order contains only digital files, you can ignore the association between retouched and original photos. A pop-up window informs you, and you can validate the order without making any associations.

- If you have physical products or want to automatically keep the client’s favorites lists with the new retouched photos, you can drag and drop the retouched photos onto the unretouched ones to associate them, or, more quickly, use automatic association. Fotostudio associates retouched photos with their originals based on metadata or the file name. - Additional photos in the left column (alternative versions, black & white, bonus photos) can be added as additional digital downloads.

- In the "Validated" section, you can notify the client that their photos are ready using the
Sendbutton. They receive an email and can download their images.
