How to create a slideshow from a gallery
A slideshow is a video automatically generated from your gallery photos, with music, transitions and effects. You can share it with your clients, export it as a video file, or make it accessible directly in your gallery.
🎬 Create a new slideshow
To create a slideshow, open your gallery and click on the Slideshow tab. Then click on the + New slideshow card to launch the configuration wizard.

Setting up a new slideshow
1. Event type
Choose the event type that matches your photo session. Each preset automatically preconfigures the template, rhythm and colors adapted:

- Wedding: romantic and elegant with smooth transitions and timeless ambiance.
- Portrait & Fashion: graphic compositions with impactful typography.
- Travel & Adventure: energy and movement, ideal for reportages.
- Party & Birthday: dynamic and festive with multi-frames and upbeat rhythm.
- Corporate & Event: sober and professional with strong branding and clean transitions.
- Custom: configure each parameter manually according to your vision.
2. Music
Choose the background music for your slideshow. Two options are available:
- Music library: access hundreds of royalty-free tracks (Bensound), filterable by genre, mood, energy, instruments, etc.
- Import a file: upload your own audio file directly.
Music is optional. Without music, slide durations will be uniform.

3. Photo selection
Browse your folders and select the photos to include in the slideshow. Photos are displayed in the library, with the ability to filter by folder or favorites.
4. Gallery display

Define how the slideshow will be presented to your clients:
Visibility:
- Visible: accessible to all gallery visitors.
- Buyers only: visible only after purchasing a product.
- Hidden: not displayed in the gallery (editing only).
Entry mode:
- Play button: a discreet button allows the visitor to start the slideshow.
- Skippable intro: the slideshow launches automatically but can be skipped.
- Mandatory intro: the slideshow must be watched before accessing the gallery.
Gallery position:
- Featured: displayed at the top of the gallery, before the photos.
- In grid: integrated as a section in the photo grid.
- Visual ambiance & rhythm (if you haven't chosen a pre-configured template)

Choose the visual template that defines the staging of your photos:
- Clean: smooth transitions and sober typography, elegant and timeless.
- Cinematic: Ken Burns effect with wide shots and film ambiance, ideal for storytelling.
- Dynamic: sharp cuts and energetic transitions for energy and movement.
- Editorial: bold graphic compositions with impactful typography.
And define the transition rhythm:
Rhythm:
- Contemplative: smooth transitions and long pauses, 4-6 s per photo.
- Fluid: natural rhythm with balanced transitions, 2-4 s per photo.
- Energetic: sharp cuts synchronized to the musical rhythm, 1-2 s per photo.
- Colors & visual style (if you haven't chosen a pre-configured template)

Configure the colors and typography of your slideshow: background color, text color, font. You can also automatically use your gallery theme for visual consistency.
