# How does the forecast work for the revenue chart?

In Fotostudio, you will find a forecast for your revenue, which will help you gain insight into your business activity.

The forecast is located in [Accounting > Dashboard](https://www.fotostudio.io/app?show=finances), under the graph _"Turnover"_.

It is based on the amount remaining to be invoiced for a shoot, relative to its date of realization.

For example: for a shoot at €200 in July, if I received a down payment of €50 this month in March, the forecast will show €150 for July.
