# How to bill a client in multiple payments?

It is possible to bill a client in multiple payments. Each payment request will generate a new invoice.

To do this, you need to use payment plans that will allow you to define how many times you want the client to pay you.

Then, you can create a workflow to schedule the automatic sending of your invoices. This workflow can create and send invoices for you. For example, one invoice 2 months before the shoot, another one month before, and the last one on the day of the shoot.
