How to create and send a quote to my client?

The first step is to create a shooting in your Fotostudio interface and associate it with a contact. You can then consult the file of this shooting and go to the "Estimates and invoices tab.

Estimates and invoices tab
Click on the Add estimate button to enter the quote creation interface. On this page, you can:

choose the issue date of the quote and its validity

modify the details of the photographer and the client

add the rates you wish to propose in the quote

add a discount, on a line of the quote or on the total (in percentage or value)

add a comment

associate T&Cs and a shooting

New estimate

Once the quote is saved, you are redirected to the shooting file, and your new quote appears in the list of quotes. The eye icon 👁 allows you to view your quote in PDF format. You can then save it to your computer, print it, or send it to a contact.

But ideally, you should send your quote to the contact to have it validated. You can click on the Actions > Send button next to your quote. A window opens with the email template for sending quotes.

When you send the quote to your client in this way, a link will be present in the received email to view the quote. When they click on this link, your client will be redirected to your Fotostudio client interface where they can consult the quote and accept it.

If you have a contract in your shooting, the contact will be directed to it immediately after validating the quote.

If the quote's deadline has passed, the "Accept this estimate" button no longer appears on the quote in the client interface.
