# How to create and set up a kitty?

To create a kitty in Fotostudio, go to the _"Quotes and Invoices"_ tab of a shooting's file.

# Creating the Kitty

In the _"Kitty"_ section, click on the `Create a kitty` button. You can then choose whether you want to set a ceiling for the kitty, and the amount of this ceiling if applicable, then click on `Save`. The kitty is created.

The `Actions` button will allow you to perform different actions:
* View the kitty: access the kitty page on the client interface
* Send: send the kitty link to your client
* Contributions: displays the list of contributions
* Edit: allows you to modify the ceiling and lock the kitty (if you no longer wish to receive contributions)
* Delete

# The Client Interface of the Kitty

If you use the `Actions > View the kitty` button, you will access the kitty page on the client interface.

It shows the progress of the kitty, the details of the shooting, and a participation form.

You have the option to customize the details of the shooting by creating a custom quote in your shooting's file. The _"Shooting Details"_ section of the kitty interface will display the content of your quote once validated.

# Sending the Kitty

To send the kitty, simply use the `Actions > Send` button. The kitty sending email template appears in a new window, and you can customize it before sending.

Then, your client can share the kitty link with their relatives so they can contribute to the financing of the shooting.

# How Contributions Work

To contribute, the relative will need to access the kitty link and fill out the participation form. An invoice will be created for each contribution, which the relative will have to pay online. Therefore, you should think about activating at least one online payment method on your account. # Using the Kitty

When you want to use the kitty and it has no ceiling or the ceiling is not reached, we recommend you lock the kitty to prevent new contributions. Click on the `Actions > Edit` button then activate the _" Block this kitty"_ option.

You can then create an invoice if the amount of the shooting is not covered by the amount of the kitty, or add a discount to deduct the amount of the kitty from the amount of the shooting.
