How to create, configure, customize, and send a photo gallery? (retouch mode or ready for sale)
Creating a gallery involves several customizable parameters, notably two working modes: retouch mode and ready for sale mode.
To create a gallery, go to the Galleries menu.
Gallery settings are accessible either by creating a new gallery with the Add button or by editing an already created gallery with the Edit button.
Available settings:
Associated shoot (select a shoot created in the CRM to pre-fill certain fields)
Template name (use a configuration template for the gallery)
Gallery name
Custom URL
Access type (public or protected with an access code)
Associated contact and secondary contacts
Gallery availability and expiration date
Shoot date
Gallery language (for client interface)
Working mode (editing or ready for sale)
Catalog (for product sales)
Include all photos or number of included photos (free for the client, only concerns digital photos)
Link to the YouTube or Vimeo video that will be displayed on the main gallery page
Add to portfolio to integrate the gallery on a website

Editing
Appears only in an editing mode gallery. Allows you to see the client's selection and upload edited photos.
Cover
Customize the gallery cover by choosing an image, a theme, colors, and text options. You can choose to use the cover settings from another gallery and enable or disable the watermark.
Appearance
Choose the spacing and size of the photos.
Watermark
Choose which watermark to apply to your photos and whether to apply it to thumbnails as well.
Extra
Add or modify the link to the YouTube or Vimeo video to display on the gallery.
Access
Manage client access codes.
Orders
Find details of orders placed on the gallery.
Statistics
Some statistics about the gallery.
The photos available in the gallery have not yet been edited. Your client must first choose the photos you will edit. Only edited photos can be downloaded or ordered.
The operation is as follows:
Select the "Retouch" working mode.
Select the number of included photos for the client and add a catalog containing at least one digital file product.
Upload the unedited photos and send the gallery to the client.
The client selects the desired photos (via included photo count and/or purchase of digital photos) and places an order. You receive an email notification.
The selected photos appear in the "To retouch" section of the "Retouch" management tab.
You edit the photos, then upload them using the Upload retouched photos button.
In the "Retouched" section, you validate the edits with the Approve button.
In the "Approved" section, you can notify the client that their photos are ready with the Send button. The client receives an email notifying them that the photos are ready and can download them via the included link.
The photos available in the gallery are ready for sale. Your client can directly download them or place orders.
You can set certain default parameters for your galleries in Galleries > Gallery Settings.
You can choose the default working mode as well as automatic actions and activation of the "Shop" page (see the article Configure the shop page).
You can create gallery templates to select when creating a new gallery. This allows you to apply default settings to your gallery without having to manually configure everything.
Archiving a gallery frees up storage space. You can restore it at any time.
If you delete a gallery, it will be moved to the trash and permanently deleted after 30 days.

Retouch Mode:

Archived Galleries
Archiving a gallery frees up storage space. You can restore it at any time.
Trash
