# How to import my contacts (Google or others)?

You have the option to import your contacts into Fotostudio. The method will be different depending on the origin of these contacts.

# Google Contacts

To export your Google contacts, [go to this page](https://contacts.google.com/) and click on the `Export` button at the bottom left. Choose the CSV format.

To import your file, [go to the import page here.](https://www.fotostudio.io/app/imports) Click on the `New` button, select your file, choose _"Google Contacts"_ as the import type then `Import`.

# Contacts from Elsewhere

It is possible to import your contacts into Fotostudio but you must complete an Excel file for this.

[The Excel file template to be completed is available here.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mCM35TlGE4d8C1VcpUDskZkuFCKb-ZOw/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=117232839481174053439&rtpof=true&sd=true) To download it, go to the __File > Download > Microsoft Excel (.xls)__ menu.

To import your file, go to the [Contacts](https://www.fotostudio.io/app/contacts) menu, click on the `Import` button, select your file then `Import`.

You will then arrive on the import page where you will be invited to choose what each column of your file corresponds to.

Then choose the type of contact you wish to associate with the contacts from this file (prospects, customers, suppliers, partners). If you want to import different types of contacts, you must create files by type of contact, and do an import for each.
