How to receive emails from my clients in Fotostudio

To simplify the management of your communication with your clients, Fotostudio allows you to receive your clients’ emails directly in your interface. No more switching between multiple platforms: everything is centralized and organized in one place.


Step 1: retrieve your Fotostudio email address


In Fotostudio, go to Messaging → Settings (Sending/receiving server).


In the Receiving section, select your unique email address (XXX@fotostudiomail.com) and copy it.


Step 2: enable email forwarding


To start receiving your emails in Fotostudio, simply enable email forwarding from your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, OVH, etc.).


Here are the general steps to follow:


  • Go to your email account settings.
  • Find the email forwarding option.
  • Add the unique address provided by Fotostudio as the forwarding address.
  • Save the changes.
  • Depending on your provider, a confirmation email may be sent to your Fotostudio address. If so, open it directly from Messaging → Inbox in Fotostudio and click the confirmation link.


This option sends Fotostudio a copy of every email received in your inbox.


Email privacy — For privacy and efficiency reasons, Fotostudio only processes emails sent by contacts already registered in your CRM.

If you receive an email from an address that does not yet exist in your Fotostudio contacts, that email will neither be opened nor stored.
This ensures that only conversations with your current clients and prospects are centralized in Fotostudio.


Enable email forwarding in Gmail


Log in to gmail.com with your account.


1. Access settings


  • Click the gear icon in the top right corner.
  • Click See all settings.
  • Open the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.


2. Add a forwarding address


In the Forwarding section, click Add a forwarding address.


A window will open: enter your Fotostudio address and click Next.


3. Confirm the forwarding address


Gmail will send a confirmation email to your Fotostudio address.


Open this email from the CRM and click the confirmation link.


Once confirmed, go back to Gmail settings.


4. Configure forwarding options


In the Forwarding section, select:


Forward a copy of incoming mail to [address]


Then click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.


Enable email forwarding in OVH


Log in to ovh.com with your account.


1. Access your OVH dashboard


Once logged in, go to the Emails tab.


2. Select your domain or email address


In the left menu, click Domains or Emails depending on your setup, then select the relevant address.


3. Open redirection settings


In the Emails section, look for Redirections or Redirection management, then click Create a redirection.


4. Configure forwarding


In the window:


  • Source address: your usual email address
  • Destination address: your Fotostudio address


5. Save the redirection


Click Confirm or Save to finalize the setup.
