# Is it possible that my client received their gift voucher without paying their invoice?

**This is not possible** if the client does not pay online for their invoice when ordering the gift voucher.

As a photographer, you receive the voucher but the client receives nothing.

It will be up to you to send the voucher if you wish in [Modules > Gift Vouchers](https://www.fotostudio.io/app/vouchers) with the `Actions > Send` button.
