# What are custom fields?

In Fotostudio, you have the ability to create custom fields in addition to the default fields on your contact and shooting records.

For example, you can create a custom field for the EDD (Estimated Due Date), the gallery link, or any other information that is useful to you.

To create custom fields, go to [Settings > Modules > Custom Fields](https://www.fotostudio.io/app/custom_fields).
