# What does an "automatic" deposit mean and how to manage it?

In the settings of your payment plan, if you add a deposit invoice, you can enable (or disable) the option *" Create automatically when contract signed"*. This option allows the invoice to be automatically created by Fotostudio when your client signs their contract.

You can disable the automatic generation of the deposit upon contract signature. You simply need to associate a payment plan without automatic deposit to your shoot or type of shoot.
