# What variables are available?

In this article, you will find the complete list of available variables in Fotostudio.

||| You can access the list of available variables when editing text by using the `Variables` button (label icon 🏷) in the text editor. If you select a variable, it will automatically be placed where your cursor is.

# In Emails and Contracts

### Contact Variables

* {firstname}: first name
* {lastname}: last name
* {email}: email
* {phone}: phone
* {street}: street
* {zipcode}: zipcode
* {city}: city
* {country}: country
* {company}: company
* {vat}: VAT
* {birthdate}: birthdate
* {connection}: list of contact's acquaintances

### Shooting Variables

* {shoot_name}: shooting name
* {shoot_date}: date + start time of the shooting
* {shoot_date_simple}: shooting date
* {shoot_time}: shooting time
* {shoot_end}: end time of the shooting
* {shoot_type}: associated shooting type
* {shoot_location}: shooting location
* {shoot_street}: shooting address
* {shoot_post_code}: shooting postal code
* {shoot_town_city}: shooting city
* {shoot_country}: shooting country
* {shoot_price}: total amount of the shooting
* {shoot_description}: description of your price list or approved quote

* {shoot_deposit}: advance payment amount based on the payment plan associated with the shooting
* {shoot_balance}: balance amount based on the payment plan associated with the shooting
* {clients}: lists complete contact details of the client(s) associated with the shooting
* {payment_plan}: lists all invoices in the payment plan and their respective amounts
* {pack_dates}: lists the main shooting and all associated shootings

# Other Variables

* {client_page}: link to the client interface

||| Some variables can only be used in a specific email. You cannot use these variables in an email or email template that you create yourself.

* {link_invoice}: in the invoice sending email template
* {link_estimate}: in the quote sending email template
* {link_contract}: in the contract sending email template
* {link_survey}, {survey_title}, and {survey_description} in the questionnaire sending email template
* {link_price} in the client pricing selection email template (creates a button)
* {link_price_url} in the client pricing selection email template (creates a link)
* {event_time}, {event_place}, and {event_name} in the reminder email the day before an appointment (not for a shooting)
