How to synchronize my Google calendar with Fotostudio?

The first thing to check is that your Google account is linked to your Fotostudio account. To do this, go to Settings > My account > My Google account.

Sync your Fotostudio calendar with Google

Once your Google account is connected, Fotostudio automatically creates a dedicated calendar called “fotostudio” in your Google Calendar.

In Fotostudio, you can choose which items you want to sync with this calendar:

your sessions;
your unconfirmed sessions;
your appointments;
your tasks.

Select the items you want to sync, then click “Save and apply”.

Synchronization then takes place automatically approximately every 3 minutes. You can also click “Run a sync now” if you want to start the synchronization immediately.

Important: If you want to add or edit events directly from Google Calendar in the “fotostudio” calendar, make sure to enable the option “Apply changes made to this Google calendar to Fotostudio”. Once this option is enabled, events added or changes made to this calendar from Google will also be reflected in Fotostudio.

Sync your Google Calendar with Fotostudio

You can also automatically import events saved in your Google Calendar into Fotostudio.

To do this, in the “Automatic import from Google” section, enable the option “Yes, automatically import the following calendar into my Fotostudio calendar”.
Then select the Google calendar you want to sync. We recommend selecting your main Google Calendar, usually the one associated with your email address.
Then click “Save and apply”.

Good to know: Events added to your Google Calendar will be added to Fotostudio as private appointments. They will appear in black in your calendar. You can then convert these events into sessions if you wish by clicking on each event and completing the necessary information (session type, client, etc.).

Important: All events imported from Google Calendar into Fotostudio will automatically block the corresponding time slots for online bookings. They will also block Mini Sessions if you have enabled the option “Automatically block availability based on your calendar”.

It is therefore important to keep this in mind when choosing which Google calendars you want to import into Fotostudio.

What should I do if my Google Calendar no longer syncs or does not sync correctly with Fotostudio?

If you notice that synchronization with your Google Calendar is no longer working correctly, you can restart the import configuration.

Disable the option “Yes, automatically import the following calendar into my Fotostudio calendar”, then click “Save and apply”.
Enable the option again, select the calendar or calendars you want to import, then click “Save and apply” once more.

Synchronization should then resume normally.
