How to set up online bookings for mini sessions?
Fotostudio offers an online booking module that is ideal for managing your mini sessions. With this module, your clients will be able to choose their slot, rate, fill in their details, sign the contract, and then pay their invoice online.
In the menu Settings > Data > Shoot Types, create a new shoot type for your mini sessions. For example, "Christmas Mini Sessions".
In the options, make sure to associate a default contract, as this is what your clients will need to sign online. A contract is mandatory to complete the booking.
You can also choose a payment plan. For example, you can request a deposit and a balance of X%, or full payment at the time of booking.
In the menu Settings > Data > Pricing and Billing, create one or more rates for your mini sessions and make sure to associate this rate with your new shoot type. Your clients will be able to choose one of these rates when booking.
In the menu Settings > Modules > Mini Sessions, you can define the time slots for your mini sessions. You need to create a slot for each possible booking. For example, November 2nd from 9:00 to 9:30, from 9:45 to 10:15, etc.
Your client can directly choose one of these slots when booking.
The Add button allows you to create a single slot. The Generate button allows you to create multiple slots by defining the number and duration of each slot, as well as the break time.
In the menu Settings > Modules > Mini Sessions, you can get your booking link. You can choose one booking link for all your shoot types, or one link per shoot type, then click Show and retrieve the URL of the opened window. This link is to be shared with your clients (via Facebook, email, SMS, or any other means of communication).
By clicking on this link, your client will arrive at your booking page. They can then choose a slot, a rate, complete their details, sign the contract, and pay their invoice online.
