Fotostudio on your phone

Fotostudio installs on your phone like a real app: an icon on your Home Screen, a full-screen display, and notifications as soon as a client books, signs, pays or writes to you.

No need to go through the App Store or the Play Store: installing takes a few seconds from your browser, and it's free.

Install Fotostudio on your phone

On iPhone and iPad

You have to install it from Safari.

1. Open fotostudio.io in Safari and log in.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
3. Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
4. Open Fotostudio from the new icon on your Home Screen.

The first time you open it, log in once inside the app: it doesn't share your Safari login.

These steps are also shown in My account > My profile > Notifications when you open it from Safari.

On Android

1. Open fotostudio.io in Chrome and log in.
2. Tap Install in the message at the bottom of the screen, or go to My account > My profile > Notifications and tap Install Fotostudio.

Don't see either? Open Chrome's ⋮ menu, then Install app (or Add to Home screen).

3. Fotostudio appears with your other apps.

Turn on notifications

Once notifications are on, your phone rings as soon as something important happens, even when Fotostudio is closed.

1. Go to My account > My profile > Notifications.
2. Tap Turn on notifications, then accept your phone's request.
3. Tap Send a test to check that everything works.

You can also turn them on straight from the message suggesting it at the bottom of the screen.

On iPhone, notifications only work in the app installed on your Home Screen, not in Safari. Install Fotostudio first (see above), then turn on notifications from the app.

What you receive

By default, you receive everything. In My profile > Notifications, you can turn off the categories you're not interested in:

• Bookings and appointments
• Contact forms
• Emails from your clients
• Signed contracts and withdrawals
• Accepted quotes
• Payments and orders
• Choices made in a catalog
• Completed questionnaires
• Gift vouchers
• Locations chosen by your clients
• Loyalty and referrals
• Supplier invoices received

These choices apply to all your devices.

Where does a notification take you?

Tap a notification to go straight to the right place: the session concerned, the client's file, the message received, the gift voucher…

And on your computer?

Notifications also work on your computer, right in your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari): turn them on from My profile > Notifications, the same way.

You can also install Fotostudio on your computer to open it in its own window, with its own icon:

• Chrome and Edge: Install Fotostudio button in My account > My profile > Notifications, or in the message at the bottom right.
• Safari on Mac: File > Add to Dock menu.

On a computer, your browser must be open to show notifications. If it's closed, they appear the next time you open it.

Several devices

You can turn on notifications on as many devices as you like: your phone, your tablet, your computer… Every notification arrives on all of them.

To stop on one device, open My profile > Notifications from that device and tap Turn off on this device. The others keep receiving notifications.

FAQ

I'm not receiving anything.
Tap Send a test in My profile > Notifications. If nothing arrives, check:

• that notifications are allowed for Fotostudio in your phone's settings (on iPhone: Settings > Notifications > Fotostudio);
• that Focus (or Do Not Disturb) is not turned on;
• on a computer, that your browser is allowed to show notifications in the system settings (on Mac: System Settings > Notifications).

The message "Notifications are blocked" appears.
You declined your browser's request. Allow notifications for fotostudio.io in your browser's settings, then reload the page.

On iPhone, I can't see the Turn on button.
You're in Safari. Install Fotostudio on your Home Screen first, then open it from its icon.

Do I have to log in every time I open it?
No. You stay logged in, even after closing the app. You'll only need to log in again if you haven't opened Fotostudio for two weeks.
