What is the Viewing module? Present your photos live to your clients
The Viewing module is a full-screen interface, independent from the rest of Fotostudio, designed to be used with your client right in front of you (at the studio, on a projector, or via video call). It lets you present your photos, sort through them with your client, place products in context, and sell (digital files, prints, albums, collections) without switching tools: everything stays linked to Fotostudio, all the way to the final quote.

Viewing session vs gallery
An online gallery lets the client choose on their own, at their own pace. A viewing session flips the logic: you present a selection you've already worked on, and you guide the choice live.
Photographers who use this format give three main reasons:
- A higher average basket: presenting products (prints, albums, collections) at the moment of decision makes upselling easier, rather than offering it afterward by email.
- Real client support: you witness their reactions live and help them decide, rather than receiving a fixed selection without context.
- Less dependence on an open gallery: photos are only shown in your presence, which reduces (without eliminating) the risk of unauthorized file retrieval.
100% linked to Fotostudio, and usable offline
Your photos are never uploaded: they're read directly from your computer throughout the session, which lets you work even without a stable connection.
Everything you do (rating, basket, composed collections) saves automatically in the background.
At the end of the session, the generated quote is a real Fotostudio quote, linked to the relevant contact and session, in your colors, viewable in the client space just like any of your quotes.
Working with the Viewing module
- Enable and configure the Viewing module — activation, default settings, framed products, sold collections
- Start a viewing session and sort with your client — photo import, slideshow, rating, comparison
- Sell during the viewing session — full-size products, room view, collections, basket and quote
