Sell during the viewing session

The digital photo pack

If you have enabled the digital pack (see Enable and configure the Viewing module), as soon as the client exceeds their quota by rating a photo "I love it", a window offers them to move up to the next tier or buy the photo individually, never a silent overage. The cart automatically reflects the selected tier and individual purchases.

Products: real-size projection

The Products screen displays a print at its real size on your screen or projector: a 30×30 will really be that size.

  • Screen calibration: a ruler to adjust just once against an object measured with a ruler, so the displayed size matches reality.
  • Product and variant selection: all the products in your catalog, with their sizes/finishes.
  • Cropping: zoom and move the photo within the product frame.
  • Frame / American box: if the product is configured (see Enable and configure the Viewing module), the rendering takes it into account automatically.
  • Add to cart directly from this screen.

Room view: wall staging

A wall (living room, bedroom, or a photo sent by your client) on which you virtually place products or collections, at their real size.

  • "In situ" calibration: measure a known reference directly in the photo of the wall (e.g. "the bed is 1.60 m") so that the placed sizes are consistent.
  • Decor photo linked to the client: if the client sends you a photo of their own wall, it is attached to their contact record and reusable at each session with them, calibration included.
  • Resizing by tiers: by dragging on a placed frame, it switches directly from one available size to another in your catalog.
  • Add to cart directly from the selected frame.
  • Add to slideshow: see the "Staging" section of Start a viewing session and sort with your client.

Using your collections during a session

Once your collections are created in advance (see Enable and configure the Viewing module), you fill them live with your client:

  1. Choose a collection in the catalog.
  2. Click each empty opening to drag in a photo from the library — naturally reusing the ones the client marked "I love it" — and adjust the cropping if needed.
  3. Choose the desired size if several are offered: the price displays automatically.
  4. Save as template to find it again later without starting from scratch, Add to cart directly, or Place in the room to see it staged in the Room view.

The Album screen

Compose an album layout directly with your client.

  • Add a style, crop the photos however you like.
  • Generate the album from all the photos or from a specific selection/list: depending on the portrait, landscape and order of your photos, layouts are proposed automatically.
  • Download the PDF once finished — note, it is not print-ready (bleed and supplier dimensions not taken into account), it is simply a memento of the mock-up validated with the client.

The cart and the quote

  • Multiple carts per session (e.g. one for the parents, one for the grandparents), each with its own recipient contact.
  • Add a line from your products/collections, from the price catalog, or a free line (text + price + VAT). A line can be linked to a specific list (e.g. prints linked to your "Free prints" list).
  • Discounts per line or global, free note per cart (carried over to the quote).
  • Generate the quote: creates a real Fotostudio quote, with thumbnails and file names of each photo ordered. A link lets you open it directly in the client area, in your colors, to show it or send it immediately.

The order form

Once the quote is generated, a dedicated page (accessible from the Viewing tab of the session) lists everything that was ordered — photo, product, format, cropping — to prepare your supplier order. You can download a ZIP with all the photos already cropped to the right dimensions.

Finding the history from the session record

The Viewing tab of the session record lets you restart the viewing, consult the order form, see the selections made with your client (with copy of the names for Lightroom), the associated carts and quotes, the composed collections, and the lists used — all in one place, without reopening the full-screen view.
