Why are the price variables not replaced in my contract?

The price variables in the contract ({shoot_price}, {shoot_deposit} and {shoot_balance}) are only replaced once the shoot price is set.

Your client can do this when they accept a quote or select a package for their shoot.

You can also set the shoot price yourself by validating the quote manually or by selecting a package from the "Estimates and invoices" tab of the shoot page.

A quote that was accepted and then cancelled no longer sets the price: the variables use the last accepted quote that hasn't been cancelled. If there is none left, the shoot price is no longer set.

As long as the price isn't set, the "Contracts" tab of the shoot page shows an orange reminder. If a quote exists but hasn't been validated yet, {shoot_price} already shows its amount, but {shoot_deposit} and {shoot_balance} stay empty. And when your client opens the contract, Fotostudio first asks them to accept this quote.
