How to create my own variables?

On top of the variables Fotostudio provides, you can create your own variables to use in your emails and contracts.

To start, create a new custom field in Modules > Custom fields, with the Add a field button.

To learn more about custom fields, see the Custom fields category.

In the field's creation window, you'll find the "Variable" option, turned on by default. Leave it on to link a variable to this custom field. The variable will have the format {custom_XXX}.

The exact variable then appears in the "Variable" column of the field list (for example {custom_12}). It also appears in the editor's Variables button, under your field's name.

You can then use this variable in your emails and contracts, and it will automatically be replaced by the content of the linked field.
