What variables are available?

In this article, you'll find the complete list of variables available in Fotostudio.

You can open the list of available variables wherever you edit text, with the Variables button (label icon 🏷) in the text editor. When you select a variable, it is inserted where your cursor is.

In emails and contracts

Contact variables

{loyalty_points}: the loyalty points this client has unlocked through their purchases and shoots
{referral_code}: the referral code this client can share with friends and family to refer them

Shoot variables

{shoot_date}: the date + start time of the shoot
{shoot_date_simple}: the date
{shoot_time}: the time
{shoot_end}: the end date and time of the shoot
{shoot_type}: the type of the linked shoot
{shoot_place}: the venue name
{shoot_street}

{shoot_country}
{shoot_price}: the total amount of the shoot
{shoot_deposit}: the deposit amount, based on the payment plan linked to the shoot
{shoot_balance}: the balance amount, based on the payment plan linked to the shoot
{shoot_description}: uses the description of your price or of your accepted quote

Photographer variables

{photographer_details}: this variable includes your business name (in My account > My company), the photographer's first and last name (in My profile), your company address, your VAT number and your company registration numbers

Gallery variables

{gallery_name}
{gallery_url}: the gallery link, with the recipient's personal access code when they have one (otherwise the main client's code). Don't pass it on to guests
{gallery_public_url}: the gallery link without any access code, safe to share with guests
{gallery_code}: the gallery access code
{gallery_guest_code}: the code to give to guests, never a client's personal code. It's the "Visitors" code of a public gallery that asks for an email, otherwise the first group code ("Full gallery" for a code-protected gallery)
{groups_gallery_code}: the list of the gallery's group access codes
{gallery_available_at}: the publication date
{gallery_expired_at}: the expiry date
{gallery_shoot_date}: the shoot date
{gallery_orders_url}: the orders page

Only in contracts

{clients}: lists the full details of the contact(s) linked to the shoot
{payment_plan}: lists all the invoices in the payment plan and their respective amounts
{pack_dates}: lists the main shoot and all associated shoots
{photographer_email}: the photographer's email address

Other variables

{client_page}: link to the client interface
{company_space}: link to the client's company area (Companies module)
{link_add_calendar}: buttons to add the shoot or appointment to the client's calendar (Google, Outlook, Apple)

Some variables only work in one specific email. You can't use them yourself in an email or email template you create. In these email templates, the Variables button shows them in the last column, on the right.

{link_invoice}, {numero} and {price} in the invoice sending email template
{link_estimate} and {price} in the quote sending email template
{link_contract} in the contract sending email template
{link_survey}, {survey_title} and {survey_description} in the questionnaire sending email template
{link_catalog} and {catalog_name} in the catalog sending email template
{link_price} in the email template where your client chooses a price (creates a button)
{link_price_url} in the email template where your client chooses a price (creates a link)
{link_date} in the email template where your client chooses the date
{link_venue} in the email template where your client chooses the venue
{link_credit_note} in the credit note sending email template
{amount} in the payment confirmation email template
{link_withdrawal} in the withdrawal confirmation email template
{connection_firstname} in the connection's birthday email template
{reward_points} and {reward_description} in the loyalty program reward emails
{link_renewal} in the copyright licensing emails
{event_date}, {event_time}, {event_place} and {event_name} in the email templates for an appointment (not a shoot): appointment confirmation and reminder the day before

For most links, add _url to the variable name (for example {link_invoice_url} or {link_date_url}) to get the raw address instead of a button.
