Complete Guide to the "Fotostudio" Text Editor and Email Design

Thanks to a new visual, intuitive, and customizable text editor, no more complicated copy-pasting, fonts that change with every email, or ugly links to your quotes. Here, we guide you step by step on how to set it up and make the most of it.

🔧 Activate the new text editor

Go to My Account > Customization > Application > Text Editor — you'll now find a new "Fotostudio" editor
Once activated, in the Branding tab, you can customize the appearance of your communications.

New available settings:

Primary color
Secondary color
Button text color
Global fonts:

One for emails

One for documents and the client interface

The goal: no more setting fonts individually in each email or contract. The design is centralized.

Enable the "Use this design in emails" option to automatically apply your branding settings to all your emails

Once the design is activated:

Your emails will have a colored background (your primary color)
Your links will turn into styled clickable buttons (no more long ugly URLs)
Your logo will be displayed automatically
The font used will be the one you configured in your branding

✏️ Use the new editor for your templates

Once the editor is activated, you can easily use it to customize your email and contract templates.

To do this, go to Data Templates > Email or Data Templates > Contracts

Then select the template you want to edit and click the Edit content button: the editor will open in full screen, with a clear preview and all formatting options at your disposal.

📦 Use blocks to structure your emails and documents

The biggest novelty of this editor is the addition of dynamic blocks. Here are the available ones:

Image block: Choose an image from your library. In the settings, you can define if the image should link to a URL, set alignment, rounded corners, and width.

Gallery block: Add three images side by side with customizable links. The design is flexible: spacing, rounded corners, etc.

Button block: Create a real button by setting the link, color, and text.

Separator block: Customize the color, width, and thickness of the line to structure your content visually.

Session / Promo block: Highlight a photo session or a promotion by combining text, image, and button.

HTML block: For the more technical users, insert custom HTML code, compatible with dynamic variables.

✅ For each block, you can define settings as default values

Before, pasting content from Word or websites often caused issues: broken styles, useless tags, wrong fonts, making the editor hard to use.

Now, text is automatically cleaned when pasted. Only the content and line breaks are kept, ensuring clean formatting that's easy to adjust.

💾 Save & publish

At the top of the editor, you have two options:

Save as draft: your changes are saved but not published
Publish: makes this template active for all future emails or documents

Autosave is enabled: no risk of losing your changes if you close the editor
