The client interface

The client interface (or client area / personal space) is a secure web page between you and your clients.

Only your client can access their space to view the documents you make available to them (contracts to sign, quotes, invoices, questionnaires, etc.).
They can now also update their information on their own, for example to change an address or phone number.

It is also the interface your client sees during an online booking, a gift voucher purchase, etc.

Full interface customization

In My account > My brand, you can adapt your branding and the client interface to your needs. The screen has four sections: Brand, Client area, Client dashboard and Emails.

Your changes show up right away in the preview on the right. Click Save in the bar at the bottom of the screen to keep them.

Brand

Here you define your brand: the logo and primary color used in the client interface, emails and documents.
You can also set a secondary color that you'll find in the Fotostudio text editor, and the font used in the client area and your PDF documents.

Client area

Here you can fully customize the interface your clients see when choosing a price, booking online, etc.

Client space style:

  • Clean: white background, no banner. Your color on the buttons, your font on the titles. The page title is shown inside the page, below a white bar with your logo.
  • Classic: a color or photo banner at the top, with blocks laid on top of it.

Accounts created since October 13, 2026 start in Clean. Older accounts stay in Classic until you change this setting. A new visual identity takes the style of your main identity.

In Clean style, the banner isn't shown (it stays saved if you switch back to Classic) and the Margin setting disappears. Buttons are always rounded, with white or black text depending on what reads best on your color. The settings below therefore mostly apply to the Classic style.

Main banner:

  • 10 default textures available
  • Option to add your own photo or image (recommended size: 2400x600px)
  • Customization per visual identity or even for a specific client

Banner, layout and buttons:

  • Banner height, title color, opacity of the logo and title background
  • Adjustable margins and rounded corners (square or rounded interface)
  • Customizable background color
  • Button style (filled or outline) and button text color
We recommend keeping the client interface button text color white, as it is also used for the button text in your emails.

Client dashboard

In this section, for each visual identity, you can:

Customize titles:
You can add a main title and a subtitle, and use any variables you like. For example, "Hello {firstname}" will automatically replace the {firstname} variable with your client's first name.

Choose the sections to display:
You can choose which sections your clients can access: if the box is checked, the section is visible.

  • Pending actions: quotes/contracts to sign, questionnaires to complete, etc.
  • Calendar: scheduled sessions
  • Galleries: available photo galleries
  • Contact details: the client's contact information
  • Family / relatives: the client's family members
  • Quotes: list of sent quotes
  • Invoices: list of issued invoices
  • Gift vouchers: list of purchased gift vouchers
  • Contracts: contracts to sign or already signed
  • Copyright transfers: ongoing and past copyright transfers
  • Questionnaires: questionnaires to fill in
  • Loyalty / referral: loyalty points and list of referred people
  • Shared documents: files shared by the photographer

Some sections only appear if the matching module is activated (Family, Copyright transfers, Questionnaires, Loyalty or Referral).

Write a welcome message:
You can add a short introductory text to warmly welcome your client when they arrive on the interface.

Add action buttons:
You can enable or disable 2 buttons on the client interface: the booking button and the gift voucher button.
For the booking button, you decide whether the link points to your online booking page, to your mini sessions or to a custom link such as a sales catalog.

Customize the prices display:
You can choose how prices are shown to your clients in the online booking and mini session modules:

  • Carousel (swipe): clients scroll through the offers by swiping.
  • List (scroll): all offers are shown one below the other.

Customization by visual identity

You can customize the brand, the client interface and the email style for each visual identity: How to set up multiple visual identities?

Client dashboard

When the client is logged into the client interface, for example to view a quote or choose a price, they can open their dashboard with the button at the top right of the interface (the house icon in Clean style):

Actions available on the dashboard:

  • Book or offer a gift voucher without re-entering their details (if the buttons are enabled)
  • View quotes, invoices, questionnaires
  • Edit their own contact details and manage their relatives

Interface customization
You can customize the interface (banner image and message) for a specific client. The banner is only shown in Classic style.
On their contact record, open the â‹® menu at the top right and choose Customization.

To let your clients know about their client interface, you can email them a link to it.
Simply create an email and include the {client_page} variable. It is automatically replaced with your contact's client interface URL.

Otherwise, on a contact record or a session record, the View client interface button at the top right gives you the direct URL of their client interface, if you want to send it yourself.

If you want to let some (or all) of your contacts know about their client interface, you can create a newsletter and include the {client_page} variable (available under the "variables" button). In each email, this variable is automatically replaced with the contact's client interface URL.
